They know there is the spirit of God resident in every man that if you yield gives you the right directions and decisions. Yes He is the hero but more than that, He is more than something, He controls your instincts and not the instincts and definitely not the spirit of our relatives who by now are waiting for the judgement day.
He is the HOLY SPIRIT, the current manifestation of the Trinity (God in three persons). The Holy Spirit, Jesus without flesh….
